Ondertussen 130 mph (209 km/u) en cat. 4. De actuele luchtdruk is 948 mb. De tropische cycloon kan mogelijk uitgroeien tot een cat. 5 gezien de omstandigheden zeer goed zijn voor de cycloon. De cycloon lijkt op zee te blijven.
